Adding decimals is very much like adding whole numbers.
The most important thing to remember when adding decimals is to line up all the decimal points in a column!
As usual in addition, start on the right, and add each column in turn.
If the numbers you are adding do not have the same number of digits to the right of the decimal point, you still have to line up the decimal points before adding.
If there is a carry (that is, if a column adds up to more than 9), remember to add the tens digit of that column to the next column.
