Subtracting decimals is very much like subtracting whole numbers.
The most important thing to remember when subtracting decimals is to line up all the decimal points in a column!
As usual in subtraction, start on the right, and subtract each column in turn.
If the numbers you are subtracting do not have the same number of digits to the right of the decimal point, you still have to line up the decimal points before subtracting.
If the number you are subtracting is bigger than the number you are subtracting from, you have to borrow a digit from the next column to the left.
