Crow Harassing Young Bald Eagle

Crow Harassing Young Bald Eagle

An American crow harasses a first-year bald eagle.

The crow flew directly at the eagle many times, trying to get it to leave. Most likely the crow has a nest of baby birds in a nearby tall tree and was protecting its young from a potential threat.

Scientific name for the American crow: Corvus brachyrhynchos
Scientific name for the bald eagle: Haliaeetus leucocephalus
