The flag of the Republic of Bolivia (República de Bolivia) is a red, gold, and green tricolor with a red stripe on top, a gold stripe in the middle, and a green stripe on the bottom. The red stripe represents bravery, the green represents the fertility of the land, and the yellow stripe represents Bolivia's mineral resources. The height to width ratio of this flag is 2:3.

This flag was adopted in 1851 (the previous flag was a similar tricolor, but the gold stripe was on top, the red stripe was in the middle, and the green stripe was on the bottom).
