Tyrannosaurus rex probably lived in forests, where its prey (plant-eating dinosaurs) lived. This giant ate large dinosaurs, like Triceratops. This is known because bits of Triceratops bone have been found in fossilized T. rex feces.
T. rex was one of the last of the dinosaurs to live on Earth. It died out during the K-T extinction, a major mass extinction event in which many different types of animals and plants died out.
