Amarillo - a city in northern Texas.
Arkansas - a state bordering Texas on the east; Arkansas is located north of Louisiana and east of Oklahoma.
Austin - the capital city of Texas.
Big Bend National Park - a park in western Texas along the Rio Grande; it is located southeast of El Paso and west of San Antonio.
Brownsville - a city in the far south of Texas; it is located along the Rio Grande.
Corpus Christi - a city in southern Texas located along the Gulf of Mexico.
Dallas - a city in northeastern Texas; it is located just east of Fort Worth and north of Waco.
Davis Mountains - a mountain range in western Texas.
El Paso - a city in the far west of Texas; it is located along the Rio Grande.
Fort Worth - a city in northeastern Texas; it is located just west of Dallas.
Galveston Bay - an inlet of the Gulf of Mexico in southeastern Texas; Houston is near this bay.
Gulf of Mexico - the large body of water that borders Texas on the southeast.
Houston - a city in southeastern Texas; it is located near Galveston Bay.
Laredo - a city in southern Texas located along the Rio Grande and west of Corpus Christi.
Louisiana - a state located east of Texas; Louisiana also borders the Gulf of Mexico.
Lubbock - a city in northern Texas; it is south of Amarillo and northwest of Fort Worth.
Mexico - the country located south of Texas across the Rio Grande.
New Mexico - the state that borders Texas on the northwest; New Mexico is located north of Mexico and west of Oklahoma.
Oklahoma - the state that borders Texas on the north; Oklahoma is located west of Arkansas.
Rio Grande - the river that borders Texas on the southwest.
San Antonio - a city in Texas southwest of Austin and northeast of Laredo.
