kite - a four-sided figure shaped like a diamond in which the two pairs of adjacent sides have the same length.
parallelogram -a four-sided figure in which the opposte sides are parallel to each other and the opposite sides have the same length.
rectangle - a four-sided figure in which the opposte sides have the same length.
rhombus - a type of parallelogram in which each side is the same length.
square - a type of rectangle in which each side is the same length and all four interior angles are right angles (90 degrees).
trapezoid - a four-sided figure that has exactly one pair of opposite sides that are parallel to each other.
