OCEAN ANIMALS

Many animals live in the oceans, in a variety of conditions. Some marine biomes include benthic biomes (bottom dwellers), pelagic biomes (open seas near the surface), coral reef (warm shallow salt-water environments based on coral formation), littoral or intertidal areas (along the shore), estuarine biomes (where rivers meet oceans), etc.
