Paul was supposed to have been the biggest baby ever born in Maine. After growing up, Paul traveled west, and he and Babe cut and cleared forests across the USA. Babe and Paul both loved flapjacks (pancakes) with maple syrup.
In the tall tales, Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox are credited with having created many of the most amazing landmarks in the USA, including the Grand Canyon, the Great Lakes, the St. Lawrence River, Puget Sound, and the Black Hills of South Dakota.
