These exercises make the student think about the shapes of letters, noting whether each lower-case non-script letter has an ascender (like b, d, f, h, k, l, t, and k), a descender (like g, j, p, q, and y), or none (like a, c, e, i, m, n, o, r, s, u, v, w, x, and z). |
