The Julia is a yellow-orange tropical butterfly from the Americas, about 3-4 inches wide. It is a Heliconian (a group of tropical butterflies that have a bad taste and smell, and a large head). The eggs of the Julia butterfly are round; the pupa is angular. The adult sips on passion flower nectar (Passiflora). Julias are found from South and Central America to the southern USA.
A jungle is a rainforest or a rainforest whose canopy trees have been logged (cut), causing lush growth on the forest floor (also known as a secondary forest).
