Anatomy: The Beagle is a small, muscular dog, with a short white, black, and tan coat. It has droopy ears and soft brown eyes. Beagles are usually about 13-15 inches (33-38 cm) tall at the shoulder. They weigh from 20 to 40 pounds (9 to 18 kg).
