Permissions We Grant

  • We always appreciate links to our site. For more information, click here.
  • We give permission to print copies of our web pages, on paper, for classroom use and for non-commercial educational purposes, as long as the pages are unmodified and as long as our copyright notice appears clearly on each page distributed.
  • We also give permission to use content from our web pages in PowerPoint (and similar) presentations made by you in person, if the content is not modified and if our copyright notice is included; the copyright notice must be included on each slide which has our content, in addition to any overall list of credits you may have.

Examples of Permissions We Do Not Grant

  • You may not include our pages, or any text or image(s) from our pages, on ANY web site; nor may you distribute any of our content via the Internet in any other way. Please do not write and ask to be an exception.

Many people still write each day asking to be an exception; PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ME TO ASK TO USE EITHER MY IMAGES OR WRITING ON YOUR WEB PAGE. THE ANSWER IS NO! This applies to ALL sites, including personal sites, sites needed for your grade in a class, educational sites, and non-commercial sites.

If you want to have a web site of your own, write your own text and draw your own pictures.
