Print out the following pages to make a flower-themed math bingo game using the numbers 0-11. To play, the teacher can call out numbers from 0-11 or give the students math problems whose answers are the numbers 0-11.
Teacher Instructions: Print up enough bingo cards so that each student has one. Each student will need one bingo card and a few pennies or other small objects to cover up the numbers called out.
Pass out the bingo cards and pennies (or other small objects) to the students. Explain to the students how bingo works (see the "Student Instructions" to the right). To play, show and/or state one number or one math problem at a time. Call out a number from 0 to 11, or state a math problem whose answer is a number from zero to eleven (or you can use a set of math flashcards, or write each math problem on the chalk board). For example, you can call out "8" or "6+2" or "9-1." You need to go through each of the digits zero through eleven in random order (but someone may get bingo before you have gone through all the numbers). Continue until a student gets "bingo" (five adjacent numbers on the bingo card). If you like, you can check the winner's answers at the end. |
Student Instructions: Listen to each of the teacher's math questions. Every time the teacher asks a math question, figure out the answer and look for that number on your bingo card. Put a penny on that number.
When you have covered any five numbers in a row (next to each other), you have won -- call out BINGO! |
