Marine Mammals are mammals that spend most of their lives in the seas. They include the cetaceans (whales and dolphins), pinnipeds (seals, sea lions, and walrus), sirenians (manatees and dugongs), sea otters, and even the polar bear. Most marine mammals have a thick layer of insulating blubber that keeps them warm in cold water.
Most are carnivores (meat-eaters), whose diet includes fish, crustaceans, birds, and krill. Marine mammals are hunted by other marine mammals (like killer whales and polar bears), sharks, and man. A few marine mammals (like manatees) are herbivores (plant-eaters).

In addition to printing the animals, you can copy a printout (click here for instructions) and paste it into a painting program (like Paint) and color the animal there. (Thanks to Grace P. from Thorngrove School for this great idea.)
