Lagomorphs include rabbits, hares, and pikas. They are herbivorous (plant-eating), fast-moving mammals. Lagomorphs have a fast reproductive rate; adult females can have many large litters each year. They superficially resemble rodents. They have a pair of always growing incisor teeth at the front of the mouth (like rodents) plus an additional pair of chisel-shaped teeth outside the other pair.
Lagomorphs are preyed upon by many other animals, including wolves, dogs, coyotes, foxes, lynxes, bobcats, weasels, eagles, owls, hawks, and people.
Classification: Lagomorphs belong to the class Mammalia (mammals) and the order Lagomorpha (rabbits, pikas, and hares). There are two living familes of lagomorphs (containing about 80 species altogether):

In addition to printing the animals, you can copy a printout (click here for instructions) and paste it into a painting program (like Paint) and color the animal there. (Thanks to Grace P. from Thorngrove School for this great idea.)
