US State
A Printable Book for Early Readers
Flag Crafts

Print out the following pages to make a US State book, an early reader book for young readers. To complete the book, the student must research a US state, draw its map, draw its flag, and answer simple questions about the state.

There are two book pages on each printed page. Have the students cut each page in half along the dotted line. Staple the pages together at the left of the page, then read the book, fill in the word, and color the pictures.

To get back to this page from a printout, just click on the picture.

Skills practiced: reading, maps, flags, geography research.

For a pdf version of the entire book, click here (site members only).
